Karate Banquet 2009

(and one more stayed home sick...) The 3 kids got face painting.Overall a nice night (~ though the kids did get a little tired).

Jacob turns 10!!!

Jacob had a good party, he played about "10" games of Laser Tag after opening his gifts.
Too bad the next day he came down with food poisoning... :o(

Chinese Language School Party

Athena helps out her teacher Alexandra Cali, by making silk ribbons into flowers before the Dance Performance.
After many-a-months, they are ready to perform.

Next performance was the Tai Chi class of instructor Ron Li.
Last came the Pin Yin 5 class performing the 3 Little Pigs.
Scott & Athena thought it was the worst Chinese Mandarin they have ever heard.

(They just can not understand;

that just because you look Chinese ~ doesn't mean you know how to speak Mandarin).

Everybody (except me~daddy) ate lots of Chinese food and frosted cookies. It was a long day... but Hannah got a 90% on her final in her Pin Yin 2 class; and the girls loved showing off their dance recital finale' as well, so it was worth it!

Jacob's 2009 Winter Concert

It only took 17 songs by the Orchestra and Band before we got to the Choir program.

(too bad I didn't bring my pillow, or earplugs)

The choir only did 5 songs (whew). Jacob was doing an experiment on this girl to see if you could see the light on the other side of her ear...(LOL)
After getting home I found this picture that the Ghost of Christmas Past must of taken when I wasn't looking... Creepy!

A November to Remember

One Krazy Kid...Two Goofy Guys... Two Giggly Girls...The Fantastic Four...

Our happy family, in our first Christmas Picture together. They make it look easy...

but it took many shots to get everybody with a good/non-closed eyes smile, while looking at the camera (funny~thing too, we went with pose #1 :o).

We made a Detour to the North... The North Pole that is, where everyone loves Mr. Claus.

After returning home...The kids put up their first tree...~

And the Christmas Elves helped with the outdoor display as well.
