This Land Is Your Land...

...This Land Is My Land.Today was the Veteran's Day-4th and 5th Grade Music Performance.
For the Hunsucker's we are proud of our Veterans; Great Grandfather Gaston "ScrapIron" Hunsucker. He fought in the "Battle of the Bulge" in WWII. Next to him is Grandfather Jack "MotionSickness" Hunsucker, he was in the Navy in the 60's. (Photo, 1949?)

After a few songs though, Scott came to realize; "I not know the words and this is not too fun".
Athena's best~friend Naomi. :o) She has been very helpful and genuinely befriending Athena in school.

Athena's Day Off

First stop on her "Day Off", a trip to the Immigration office. Even though Athena was a U.S. Citizen when she stepped off the plane in San Fransisco, she had to retake the Oath, and resign her affirmation, to have them "hand over" her US Citizenship Document.

The next stop was a visit to CCAI, the starting place for her paperwork;

(in someways her birthplace) to come to her family.
Thanks to a letter from Lily, we made it to China in time to adopt Athena.
The waiting child department was happy to see Athena, a lot of hard work came from these people, in just a short period of time.

Athena had a "Great Day Off"!
