Red Thread Journey..."An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstances. The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break." Chinese Proverb

This is the story of our family: Our son Jacob, born to us 12 years ago, and Our daughter Kira (2005~2006), whom was born to us~ and now she rests in heaven before us, with my husband's eldest daughter Shelby (1990~2011). They have all three blessed our lives and souls, in many ways as their humbled parents. They have powerfully lead us through GOD'S hand to be parents of more; through their love, memory, and with the help of adoption from China. We have now come complete circle and have finished our journey to family forever, to adopt our 3...uhhhhh now 4th...no... it is our 5th beloved child from China. Our first China daughter; Hannah was from Guangdong, China ~ in 2008 and we then returned to China in late 2009 to adopt Our oldest son; Scott and Our oldest daughter; Athena, both from Henan, China ~ in 2009. We just finished the process of adopting our youngest daughter; Bella from China, she was also from Henan, China ~ in 2011. At the same time we were blessed to be able to have found another waiting daughter; Deanna, our 4th china daughter, and she is our 5th child from China. She is from Guangdong, China--same as our first China daughter; Hannah (2008) --& the story behind Deanna joining us is way too long to print it all here, but our circle of forever family is complete with her ~in 2011. {Here is just an exerpt of that special final adoption journey}-- Deanna is our 1st adopted daughter's foster sister from Guangdong, China. She is now the same age as our 1st adopted daughter was when we were first united as a forever family. Deanna's Chinese name means: 'perfect, precious circle'.} Our family circle is now complete. Pray with us as we enjoy parenthood, and as we continue to rejoice in the trials, triumphs, and blessings that have lead us each time halfway around the world to add to our cherished family. This is our family we share with you, as friends and family alike.

Happy Holidays from AnYang

A 2010 holiday card from AnYang where our Bella is, & in foster care. This is some of the foster mama's and baba's with their adorable foster children waiting for their adoptive families. I didn't see Bella in the photo, but wanted to point out how cold it looks already in Northern China-- We hope to receive a foster report soon again on Bella-- can't wait to share some new photos then with you, while we wait to travel-- in the late spring.

as we wait; half-a-world-away to hold our girl. We can never repay this kind of generosity and love-- except to pay it forward; and be friends forever for our daughters. Thank you T! :)

What a Blessing December is --
"NOEL" means Blessed Birthday, and we were Blessed with these Birthday photos of our precious Deanna (on the right--striped red and white shirt) while she waits in China. Our hearts yearn for her to come home soon--but these help, seeing her healthy and smiling. The Party is for Deanna's Best Friend; (Deanna is pictured criss-cross-apple-sauce-style in the red and white striped shirt and red shorts to the right) her BF is in the center with her hat.

sisters...forever!

These are some photos from 2008 from "our Personal stash" of photos that Hannah came 'home' with during the adoption process of herself in 2008.
These photos are of Hannah age 7 (back in 2008), and her sister Deanna age 4.5 (2008)... these are the girls ("our girls") in China-- Priceless. Hannah is in the stripped pink and white shirt, Deanna is in the yellow and red sleeved shirt. The girls are passing out the candy we had sent in a care package to Hannah and her foster family at the orphanage--2008.This is Deanna front and center in her new red and gray winter coat; she is about age 3.

Meet Deanna!

Meet Deanna, our fourth daughter from China-- I can not put into words what this child means to us, to call her our own. I can not even begin to tell you the story behind her and us, because it was always in our heart-- never on paper, but we knew somehow this little Maoming sweetie would be brought to us or us lead to her-- almost 3 years later; we have found each other, put a name and face to our daughter and peace to our dream... She is from Maoming, Guangdong she is age 7. We have named her Deanna HuanYu. We have come complete circle and our family feels very complete. We have been waiting for this little sweetie to be our daughter since we first adopted Hannah MeiRu (Maoming, Guangdong 2008 at age 7). Hannah and Deanna were foster sisters. :) When I saw her picture staring back at me the day our agency posted her profile-- I knew her province, her name and her age before I even read the file-- I knew it from inside, from a place that only GOD had told me these things. She will fit perfect into our family. Bella XiaoHan {our youngest daughter :) waiting in Anyang, Henan} is age 4, Deanna HuanYu ** whom you just meet is 7, Our Hannah MeiRu is 9 (adopted 2008 Guangdong), Jacob 10, and our two oldest Scott Yu age 12 and Athena NiuNiu age 13 (adopted 2009 Henan). See told you, Deanna fits in perfect; in numbers and in our heart-- we can not wait to travel to pick up both our newest daughters in spring.
from Ash-- a teary eyed mother whom is Blessed beyond measure, and Humbled beyond reason.
